Byron "Buck" Oglesby

Wood Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Byron "Buck" Oglesby. 

Mr. Byron "Buck" Oglesby 74 passed away peacefully January 31, 2026, at Memorial Health University in Savannah Ga. Byron was born June 21, 1951, to Mr. Allen Orbin and Sarah Lee Brinson Oglesby in Lyons Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents. Byron was a carpenter all of his life. 

Byron is survived by his children Brandon (Rachel) Oglesby, Brandy (Mike) Dickerson, Lazarus Oglesby and 5 precious grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Orbin Oglesby and a sister Dot Oglesby.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted February 3, 2026, at The Oak Park City Cemetery, at 2pm., in Oak Park Georgia.
